Isometric Exercise
What is Isometric exercises

 Isometric Exercises are strength


exercises where your muscles
contract while you hold a still
position.
FULL BODY WORKOUT -
Isometric Exercises at home to build
lean muscle - no equipment
Lunge right/ left leg

 A lunge can refer to


any position of the
human body where
one leg is positioned
forward with knee
bent and foot flat on
the ground while the
other leg is positioned
behind.
Squat hold

 Stand with feet


shoulder-width
apart, and feet
turned out slightly
for comfort.
Engage the core
and set the
shoulders.
Plank hold

 The plank hold is a


bodyweight
exercise which
involves holding
the trunk part of
your body in a
straight line off the
ground.
Tuck hold

 The Tuck hold is


an isometric
core exercise that
strengthens the
abdominal muscles
that stabilize your
spine.
V HOLD

 V-Hold exercise builds


core strength by working
multiple areas of the core
at the same time, while
also challenging your
balance.
Sumo squat

 Inhale while pushing


your hips back and
lowering into
a squat position.
Keep your core tight,
back straight
Cossack squat left/right leg

 Stand and get super wide:


Your legs should form a
triangle with the floor. ...
 Shift your weight to your
right leg, bend right knee, and
sit back as far as you can.
 Keep left leg extended as you
rotate your left foot onto your
heel, toes up.
Overhead squat

 overhead squats by
raising your arms
overhead while
lowering into a
squat position.
Wall sit

 A wall sit is an
exercise done to
strengthen the
quadriceps
muscles.
