● Realiza la siguiente actividad experimental, elabora un informe escrito con los resultados
y conclusiones. Juega al químico analista.
● Introducción: Los indicadores son sustancias que, mediante un cambio de color, nos
ayudan a identificar si las sustancias son ácidas o básicas. La identificación se hace muy
fácil va que un colorante que se llama antocianina que le da el color morado. Las
antocianinas son moléculas orgánicas hidrosolubles que se encuentran en las vacuolas
como en el repollo morado, la remolacha, moras, zarzamoras, frambuesas, fresas,
arándanos, saúcos, grosellas, cerezas, ciruelas, uvas negras o manzanas rojas, entre
otros. El colorante se separa del vegetal cuando se pone en agua caliente o se hierve.
Este colorante reacciona muy rápido con ácidos y bases, por eso el agua cambia el color.
Entonces, el vegetal nos indica si se trata de sustancias ácidas, básicas o neutras. Los
colores que se obtienen para disoluciones de distintos niveles de acidez o alcalinidad
varían del rojo al amarillo pasando por el rosa, púrpura, azul y verde:

● Then resize the element by clicking and dragging one of the square-shaped
points of its bounding box (the cursor should look like a double-headed arrow).
