ONLINE FOOD ORDER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM USING C++

ABSTRACT ->

• ONLINE FOOD ORDER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM is a website designed primarily for use in
the food delivery industry .
• This system will allow hotels ,café’s and restaurants
to increase scope of business by reducing the labor cost involved .
• The system also allows to quickly and easily manage an online delicious menu which customers
can browse and use to place orders with just few clicks.
• Restaurant employees can use these orders to prepare the orders easily by preparing veg/non veg
separately without any difficulty.
INTRODUCTION ->

Online ordering system that we are proposing here ,greatly simplifies the ordering process for
both the customer and the restaurant .System presents an interactive and up-to date menu with all
available options in an easy to use manner .Customer can choose one or many items to place an
order which will land in the cart . Customer need to confirm by checking the order details in the
cart before checking out. At the end, customer gets order confirmation details.
Once the order is placed it is saved in the database . This allows restaurant employees to quickly
go through the orders placed and prepare all orders efficiently and effectively with minimum
delays and confusion .
OBJECTIVE OF
PROJECT ->

Develop a system that will allow customers to place their food order online and
provide them with feedback to the food , a list of side dishes ,also provide with
beverages ,main course ingredients and cost information .
HOW IT WORKS ->

• Firstly customer need to open the website using any browser.


• Then customer need to select between the dish ,desserts & beverages.
• Customer need to enter the quantity of the item he/she want to order.
• Customer can update the order if he/she want to add or delete item .
• At order finalization ,we will request identification information from the customer
• Then order will be recorded and will be prepared by restaurant and delivered in no time .
• Admin of the food order management system can :-
1. Check the total cash collected or yet to be collected.
2. Check the card payment details of orders.
3. Add or remove the food dishes in menu.
4. Check the instant order preview.
5. Backup the system data.

• Add/update/delete food category to/from the menu.

• Update price for a given food item.
• Update additional information (description, photo, etc.) for a
given food item.
ORDER RETRIEVAL SYSTEM MODULE :-

This is the module only designed for admin .i.e It can be used only
by restaurant employees and provides the following functions :
• Retrieve new orders from the database .
• Display the orders in an easily readable ,graphical way.

• CUSTOMIZE ORDERS :- Allow customers to customize


orders in more efficient way.
• Enhance user interface by adding more user interactive
features .Provide deals and promotional offer detail to
home page .
• PAYMENT OPTIONS :- Add different payment options
such as PayPal, UPI , gift cards. Allow to save payment
details for future use.
• Delivery Options :- Add delivery option for prime
customer’s under 45 minutes.
• Order Status :Show only active orders to restaurant
employees .
• NOTIFICATION : Send an active order notification to
the customer .
• Also going to launch app for customer convenience .
CONCLUSION :-

• This project will be useful for the customers


who don’t want to go outside and enjoy food
at home .
• Those people who are physically challenged
can order their food online by using their
mobiles .
• Customers who can’t cook their own food can
use this to order delicious food at home .
• Thus this project come in handy to those who
want to enjoy food at their home .
