What is Emotional Intelligence?
It is the ability to understand, use, and manage your
feelings with the goal of reducing stress,
communicating effectively with others, overcoming
challenges, and creating empathy.
Emotional intelligence is often confused with emotion.
Emotion cannot be controlled, whereas emotional
intelligence allows us to recognize emotions and adapt
to different situations.
By controlling our impulses and feelings, we can
master feelings of anger, sadness, or discouragement.
