INTRODUCTION

• The implementation of a Next-Generation Campus Area Network (NG-CAN) at


Espada Campus signifies a significant step forward in upgrading the campus network
infrastructure. There are 2 branches the main branch is in Colombo and the other
branch in kandy. The new network upgrade is for the main branch, over 700 students
are currently studying in the campus. As digital technology plays an increasingly vital
role in education, Espada Campus is committed to deploying an NG-CAN that
supports innovation, collaboration, and excellence By embracing advanced networking
technologies and best practices,
AIM & OBJECTIVES
The aim of the project to implement a campus area network for
ESPADA campus is to establish a robust and scalable networking
infrastructure that fosters seamless connectivity and supports
the diverse technological needs of the campus community.

• Design and deploy a modern network architecture.


• Ensure high-performance data transmission.
• Facilitate secure communication within the network.
• Accommodate the increasing demands of users, devices, and
applications
• Port security, AAA, SSH, and port trunking with LACP ensure
secure access and efficient data transmission
