1.Sorting
•Sorting the laundry is the first step
to a clean wash and helps to keep
clothes, linens, and other household
items looking their best through
repeated washes.
TIPS FOR SORTING
•Keep mixing and matching items into loads that require
similar detergents, wash cycles, and water temperatures.
-Sorting results in cleaner clothes that bleed less, last
and longer and look better,
•Sort into dry-cleaning, hand-wash, only and
machine wash.
•Separate dark colors from light colors and pastels
and whites.
- As this prevents from colors mixing and color
bleeding.
•Sort according to the type of fabric. (cotton, synthethic, delicate,
wool)
-to avoid damaging finer fabrics and accidentally mixing colors.
•Sort according to required washing temperatures and spin
speeds.(read the instructional manual)
-This it to prevent abrasion and damage to finer fabrics.
•Always dose according to the highest soil level of any textile in your particular wash load.
-As The extra soil from the wash water may deposit on the less-soiled items.
•Very Dirty laundry should be washed sooner rather later.
-As Old stains are more difficult to remove.
•Make sure that you mix small and large items.
-This allows clothes to move more freely, resulting in
better washing
detergent.
-Over-dosing will not provide better results and leads to
an extra burden on the enviroment
