OBJECTIVE
The main objective of this project is to guide the student
at the examination centers for searching the examination
room and bench number by using RFID card as hall
ticket.
ABSTRACT
The goal of this project is to provide guidance to students at
examination centres. Many students are having difficulty finding
rooms. Most students are worry while going to the examination,
and they even feel tense while looking for their exam location. In
these instances, our project is beneficial. As a hall ticket, each
student will be given an RFID card. That will automatically display
the room number of the student. Our project will primarily save
time spent searching for a room in examination centres.
PROPOSED SYSTEM:
This system aids in finding respective exam halls and seats
using RFID Technology. Each and every student is allotted an
RFID Tag. The block diagram is shown in below figure
The proposed system consists of Arduino NANO, RFID
Reader, RFID Tags, LCD, LEDs.

ARDUINO BOARD:
Arduino UNO is a microcontroller board based on. It has 14
digital input/output pins of which 6 can be used as PWM outputs
6 analog inputs, a 16 MHz ceramic
resonator, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP
header and a reset button. It contains
everything needed to support the microcontroller; simply connect it
to a computer with a USB cable or power it with a AC-to-DC
adapter or battery to get started.
RFID READER
RFID reader consists of a radio frequency module and
an antenna that generates a high frequency
electromagnetic field. Whereas the tag is usually a
passive device (it does not have a battery). It consists of
a microchip that stores and processes information, and
an antenna for receiving and transmitting a signal.
RFID TAG:
RFID tag is a small device which stores and sends data to
RFID reader. They are categorized in two types –active tag
and passive tag. Active tags are those which contain an
internal battery and do not require power from the reader.
Typically, active tags have a longer distance range than
passive tags. Passive tags are smaller and lighter in size than
the active tags.
LCD DISPLAY:
LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) screen is an electronic
display module and find a wide range of applications. A
16x2 LCD display is very basic module and is very
commonly used in various devices and circuits. Liquid
crystal display is finding wide unfold use replacing LEDs
(seven section LEDs or other multi segment LEDs)
ESP32 CAMERA:
The ESP32-CAM is a very small camera module with
the ESP32-S chip. Besides the OV2640 camera, and
several GPIOs to connect peripherals, it also features a
microSD card slot that can be useful to store images
taken with the camera or to store files to serve to clients
BUZZER:
A buzzer or beeper is an auditory signaling device that can be
mechanical, electromechanical, or piezoelectric Buzzers and
beepers are commonly used for alarm clocks, timers, and
confirmation of human input such as a mouse click or
keyboard.
• Most buzzers produce sound in the range of 2 to 4 kHz.
ADVANTAGES:
• Unattended operations are possible, minimizing human
errors.
• It is low cost as compared to the paper work.
• It involves automated operations.
• It consumes low power.
DISADVANTAGES:
• Accuracy and processing of system may be slow .
• We may have some difficulty in operating with the
buses.
CONCLUSION:
By integrating RFID Technology, we could successfully
develop an embedded system for examination room
guidance, in a cost effective and time efficient manner. The
current system can be enhanced with finger print detection
for more security.
FUTURE SCOPE:
For the existing system we can also add figure print
authentication and face recognition system can also be
Implemented for the purpose of better safety. Adding more
features like maintaining student’s detail like fee due, library
transactions, attendance etc. The idea is beneficial to both the
student and the corporate society depending upon its effective
implementation as it shows in the seeds to develop various
veritable projects.
