REVIEW

• Who can enumerate the Steps on how to assemble a


basic desktop pc?
• Why is it important to follow the standard procedure

• What is the most important thing we should consider

AT THE END OF THIS LESSON STUDENTS ARE ABLE TO:
• Create portable bootable devices in accordance with software
manufacturer instruction
• Prepare customized installers in accordance with software utilization
guide and end user agreement
• Carry out installation of portable applications in accordance with
software user guide and software license

MOTIVATION
MECHANICS:
We will divide the class in to two (2) groups. Each group will
have two representatives to perform the activity.
One of the group will be using the google translate, while the
other group will be using mobile app – language translator.
The representative of each group will tell the class the
translated word assigned to them.

There are two ways in creating a bootable disk

• Creating a STEP by STEP Bootable USB Windo

Creating a STEP by STEP Bootable USB
Windows Installer. Using Diskpart/CMD.
1. Insert USB Flash Drive
2. Open a Command Prompt window as an administrator
3. Type diskpart
4. We need to determine the drive of our flash drive
type list disk, take note of the drive of your flash drive
5. select disk X: where x is your flash drive letter
6. Clean, this command will delete or the data in your flash drive
Creating a STEP by STEP Bootable USB
Windows Installer. Using Diskpart/CMD.
7. Create partition primary
8. select partition 1
9. format fs=ntfs quick
10. active
11. exit
12. save ISO image to your flash drive.

Steps in making Bootable USB Windows
Installer using a third-party software, RUFUS.
1. Open RUFUS Software
2. Insert USB Flash Drive
3. Select ISO Image File
4. Click Start, and the message prompt will ask to erase all the data in
the usb flash drive, click Yes.
5. Wait until the green one show READY, then click closed.
GENERALIZATION
• A bootable disk is a device containing software that is ready to used
and able to read by a computer.
• It is important to make our disk bootable in order that our PC are able
to read the software inside our disk.
EVALUATION
ARRANGE THE STEPS IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER.
