BSR 282 FITNESS II

Information Session

The module will enable the student to:

 Develop understanding of the fitness & health industry

 Application of physical exercise

Outcomes of  Obtain knowledge of assessing and evaluating fitness of individuals

1. Download the lesson plan template on sunlearn (Training program)
2. Create a fitness training program for a client based on the biomotor ability
you will be allocated. The program should be 60 min long which is inclusive
of a warm up, the session, and cool down.
3. Identify the brief information of your client as per the template and create
your program to address those aspects.
4. Apply all the knowledge you have received in this module to create the

 At the practical evaluation you will implement 20 min of the session you
created to your fellow colleagues (No warm up and no cooldown). The
biomotor ability you will be allocated.

THEORY TEST DATE FOR FIRST SEMESTER AND SECOND SEMESTER GROUPS.
1st Semester (Gr1 & Gr2) – Tue 25th April 2-3.30pm (Hall B)
2nd Semester (Gr3 & Gr4) – Tue 3rd Oct 2-3.30pm (Hall B)
LESSON PLAN DUE DATES:

Calendar Lesson plan due date for semester practical's is in hard copy format on the day of practical
evaluation.

First Semester
Group 1: 2nd May 14:00-15:00 (Sports hall / Football field)
Group 2: 4th May 14:00-15:00 (Sports hall / Football field)

Second Semester
Group 3: 26th Sep 14:00-15:00 (Sports hall / Football field)
Group 4: 28th Sep 14:00-15:00 (Sports hall / Football field)
 Read your emails, MS teams chats and sunlearn notifications daily
 Work through the theory material asynchronously (In your own time) (Its on
sunlearn)
 Practical's will be F2F (Meet in front of the Sport Science building atleast 10
Important min before your fitness slot)
 Check your Fitness 2 schedule on sunlearn
information  If you have covid-19 / symptoms do not come to F2F classes
 Must fill in app and show green go ahead into come in the building
 Masks in practical's
 Sanitise / towel
 Sports clothes and takkies
