• SMC Global Securities Ltd, incorporated in 1994. This company
operates in the general sector giving financial services to both
individuals and organizations.
• SMC Global Securities Ltd provides brokerage services to its clients.
The company assists the following:
• Equities (cash & Derivatives)
• Commodity
• Currency
• Wealth Management
• Financing
• Real Estate Advisory.

WORK PROFILE
• I worked as an FX Digital Marketing and Corporate Sales Intern at
SMC Global Securities Ltd.
• As an Intern, weekly targets were given to all the interns, which
consisted of online and offline marketing and sales of the Live Screen
Product.
• During these tasks, we made calls and published banners made by us.
These banners, videos, and posters were sent to the potential leads and
clients.
• We made banners on various projects like the subscription plan, Live
FX Screen, Coffee with FX expert and many more.
• We were given the task of bringing in potential leads or adding people
to the company's subscription plan.

Project Undertaken and
Methodology
• I was designated as an FX intern at Treasury department in SMC Global Securities Ltd, my
role was to post the everyday rate of the currency market.
• There I have to maintain data of the exporter whose business is from Delhi NCR and their
turnover should be at least 5 crore turnover.
• I have to send 30 new introduction WhatsApp messages to the new exporter every and after I
have to follow up through WhatsApp
• I have to call new exporter clients and convince them to have a meeting with our product
specialist
• I have to assist my Product specialist for the meeting for those clients which I have converted
through Calling.
• Daily update on our official WhatsApp group, I used to give a report of the tasks that I have
completed for the day.
• For the purpose of data mining I have also gone to Various exporter’s places Nehru Place
Delhi, Noida 63, Greater Noida Expo Mart.
• I have also represented SMC at Handicraft Expo Mart Fair, Greater Noida.

MY TAKE AWAY FROM THIS
INTERNSHIP
• This internship was an excellent experience for me. To complete the goals
given to me, I learned new marketing and sales methods. The methods used for
the promotion of the product were new to us.

• Since this was my first internship, I have learned many new things like sales
calls, digital marketing and social media platforms understanding.

• While making sales calls, I learned how to convince a potential lead or client
regarding our product. Digital marketing expanded my research regarding
social media platforms and how they can promote our products.

• While learning about digital marketing, I also learned a new poster, banner and
video making platform called 'Canva'. This platform helped me in making
impressive banners and attract more clients.
