called the "hybrid media
technology" because it can

etc.).
It's not just access that makes
multimedia efficient, but the
control provided to users over the
content. By linking, sorting,
searching, and annotating
activities, interactive media
authoring programs allow users to
manipulate the materials.
It signifies that
interactive multimedia
is about using
multimedia to
provide information or
