IMPACTS OF

SCIENCE AND
TECHNOLOGY TO
SOCIETY
IN THOSE DAYS……
• People were combined with the nature…
- Loved it
- Treated it well
- Enjoyed it
- Grew up with it
• Then they were an actual part of nature
by all means .
• They did not need an any special part
of the day to be with it as they were
always with it
IN THOSE DAYS……
• Communication also was really wonderful …
- They wrote each other…
- Waited for replies…

• Sometimes the same reason made them


- Poets
- Creative thinkers in many
probable ways
TECHNOLOGY WAKES UP…..
• With the time .. Technology started to emerge
AND made a change in communication,
industries, household etc ; and people got the
rhythm , got on to it , get used to it.
Gradually…
They started to change. The time they spent
with the nature was allocated to this newly
arrived magical visitor.
Technology got modified…..
• That’s when the modern technology born & started to
grow up & started to get fed by human being.
Nowadays it has become an essential thing to get our
lives going.
• Tragedy is that it has become a huge impact to the
lifestyles of the people. Addiction to machinery items has
become a threat to the lifestyles of children. And they
are driving their lives out of the real world they should
experience.
YES!!! ITS POSITIVE
• Surely these things are positive though them
affects on our lives on bad way in some ways…
• Without the technology
-we wouldn’t be able to talk friends , family
who are away
- we wouldn’t be able to stay updated with
the world but….
NEGATIVE THINGS HAPPEN…
• With the development of mobile phones SOCIAL
NETWORKS are coming in to your palm & people get
addicted to it.
• Consider this…
You are sitting at a restaurant table with 5 friends and
each of you put your face down hold your smarts phones
and check emails or update social status
ISOLATION
• Social isolation is characterized by a lack of contact with other
people in normal daily living, such as, the workplace, with friends
and in social activities.

• We isolate ourselves by walking around in our own little world,


listening to our iPods or staring at the screen of the latest mobile
device even when we are around other people.

• Studies have shown that people who are socially isolated will live
shorter lives.
DEVELOPMENTAL ISSUES IN CHILDREN
• All of the negative effects that social media and
television is having on adults are far greater when
it comes to the developing minds of children.
• There is no way to know what long term effect
technology will have on our children because this
is the first generation to have unlimited access.
NEUROSIS
• Technology causes people to suffer from mental and
emotional disturbances, such as anxiety, phobias and
delusions, which are all symptoms of neurosis.

• Being convinced you’re very ill after looking up


strange diseases on WebMD or thinking you are
famous because you have had a viral video are a couple
of ways technology neurosis manifests itself.
TECHNOLOGY: A CURSE FOR
MANKIND
• Pollution
comes as a result of the improper disposal of human and
animal wastes, agricultural and mining activities that
produced artificial concrete garbage outputs which the
ecosystem cannot tolerate.
• Pollution occurs in varied forms:
1. Water Pollution
2. Air Pollution
• Resources depletion
• Increased Population
• The problem of obesity
• When didyou listened to the singing of the birds for last time ?

• When did you read a book (Novel, Short story) for last time ?

• When did you had you time together with your family members ?

• But surely more than that you may have sat infront of PCs LAPTOPS
to make yourself fill with ARTIFICIAL SATISFACTION.
LET US TRY….
• World is far worse than you saw it for the last
time…..
• Still you have the time to surf the world rather
than the CYBER SPACE
• Go on ….

BECAUSE…..
USE TECHNOLOGY
• With
Control and Limits
• Tech gadgets are here to
Help us and Serve us
Not the other way around
TECHNOLOGY is a useful
SERVANT but a dangerous
MASTER.
