• British philosopher Sir Roger Scruton once wrote,
“Consolation from imaginary things is not an imaginary
consolation.” People with depression often feel isolated
and estranged from everyone else. And that’s a feeling
books can sometimes lessen. SCIENTIFIC
• Reading fiction can allow you to temporarily escape yo STUDIES
ur own world and become swept up in the imagined
experiences of the characters. And nonfiction self-
help books can teach you strategies that may help you
manage symptoms.
REASONS THAT
READING IS MY HOBBY
• As a introvert girl the best hobby for me is the peaceful one. Why I
choose reading? As I said before this hobby may reduce stress up to
68% making it the ideal hobby for those who are looking for a way
to relax.
• Ever since I was a child, I have found comfort in the pages of a book.
As I grew older, my love for reading only increased. Now it has
become an integral part of my life.
• There is something magical about reading a good book. The words on
the page come to life. Which transports me to new worlds. It also
introduces me to new ideas. I love the way a good book can spark my
imagination and challenge my thinking. Whether it is fiction or non-
fiction, reading is an enriching and fulfilling experience. Reading it
feels like coming back to life as a different person with a new story to
tell and for me this reason is enough to lose myself in the pages of a
book.
HOW TO CHOOSE
A BOOK
•I'm a person who reads all genres of book,
so I have to find a way to choose what I read.
Most of the time I choose books by the
cover ,the season or the way I
feel. For example if its autumn I try to find
books that conveys the same vibe as the season
and I do the same thing for all seasons but if a
book sounds fascinating to you it can be the
perfect match for your mode
and doesn't matter if it's a Halloween book in
the middle of the summer as long you
enjoy what you read.
