This document proposes using 5G, IoT, and machine learning to enable smart and secure agriculture. Sensors would capture crop images using 5G and send them to a centralized server. Machine learning algorithms would analyze the images to predict crop diseases and recommend appropriate chemicals, helping farmers remotely monitor crops and improve yields. The system is intended not just to detect diseases but also predict chemical needs to avoid issues or control pests.

ABSTRACT :
 In this project we are not only detecting and identifying crop
diseases, but also predict required amount of chemicals to avoid
disease or to control pest.

 We will monitor crop using 5G connection and IOT devices

where IOT devices will capture crop images and then using 5G
connection will send that images to centralized server where
machine learning algorithms will predict disease and suggest
chemicals to farmer
INTRODUCTION :
 To improve the agricultural yield with fewer resources and labor
efforts, substantial innovations have been made throughout
human history. Nevertheless, the high population rate never let
the demand and supply match during all these times.
 According to the forecasted figures, in 2050, the world
population is expected to touch 9.8 billion, an increase of
approximately 25% from the current.
 Almost the entire mentioned rise of population is forecasted to
occur among the developing countries.
 On the other side, the trend of urbanization is forecasted to
continue at an accelerated pace, with about 70% of the world‘s
population predicted to be urban until 2050 (currently 49%).
EXISTING SYSTEM:
 With the advent of Internet of Things and Digital transformation
of rural areas, these technologies can be leveraged to remotely
monitor soil moisture, crop growth and take preventive measures
to detect crop damages and threats.

 But in olden days they used to handle with manual process. It

may leads to huge loss of crop and productivity.
DISADVANTAGES :
 It is difficult to identify diseases using manual process.

 It is time taking process.

PROPOSED SYSTEM:
 In this project we are not only detecting and identifying crop
diseases but also predicting required amount of chemicals to
avoid that disease or to control pest.
 In this project we will monitor crop using 5G connection and
IOT devices where IOT devices will capture crop images and
then using 5G connection will send that images to centralized
server where machine learning algorithms will predict disease
and suggest chemicals to farmer but we don’t have such IOT
sensors so we are using PLANT VILLAGE Disease dataset
which contains more than 20 different plant diseases.
ADVANTAGES :

 It is easy to identifying crop diseases using iot and machine

learning.

 Crop is secured and maintain good without diseases.

SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE :

sensors
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:

 SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS

• Operating System : Windows 7 +

• Python IDE : python 3.2.7,pycharm

 HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS

• RAM : 4GB and Higher

• Processor : i3 processor +
• Hard Disk : 500GB
MODULES:
Upload Crop Disease Dataset :
In this module user will upload different crop diseases dataset
details.
Image Processing & Normalization :
In this module all images and then resize all images into equal size.
Build Crop Disease & Chemical Detection Model :
In this module train CNN model with above images and the calculate
CNN prediction accuracy on test images.
Run Multiclass SVM Algorithm :
In this module dataset used to trained SVM with above dataset and to
get its accuracy

ALGORITHMS :
 CNN(CONVOLUTIONAL NEURAL NETWORK) :

• A convolutional neural network (CNN) is a type of artificial neural

network used in image recognition and processing

 SVM(SUPPORT VECTOR MACHINE) :

• A support vector machine (SVM) is machine learning algorithm

that analyzes data for classification and regression analysis.
CONCLUSION :
 We implemented this project not only about detecting and identifying
crop diseases but also predicting required amount of chemicals to avoid
that disease or to control pest.
 In this we will monitor crop using 5G connection and IOT devices
where IOT devices will capture crop images
 Then using 5G connection will send that images to centralized server
where machine learning algorithms will predict disease and suggest
chemicals to farmer but we don’t have such IOT sensors so we are
using PLANT VILLAGE Disease dataset which contains more than 20
different plant diseases.
