Process involves a series of steps to achieve an end. It is a testing time that develops strength and character. God uses process to prepare people for their mission. David underwent process for 15 years before becoming king, which strengthened his faith and developed his character so he could fulfill his role. Process trains believers and prepares them for their duty to God.

The value of process

‘So Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the
presence of his brothers, and from that day on
The spirit of the Lord came upon David in power. Samuel
then went to Ramah’.
1 SAMUEL 16:13
INTRODUCTION

 Process is a series of actions or steps taken in


order to achieve a particular end or
procedure.
 Process is a waiting season
 A training ground
 Before God blesses someone or gives them authority of
any kind, HE TESTS them over a period of time to see
if they will be worthy of the blessing or calling.
 Process is a testing
 ‘’God is never in a hurry but He is always on time’’

 Do not hurry, just wait for the time that God sets for
you.
 God anointed David, at the age of around 10-15 years
old, and he waited 15years and more before he became a
King.

 David also undergo in process. And many Bible


characters have undergone in process before they
became of what they are.
1. PROCESS MAKES YOU STRONG IN
FAITH

But just as you excel in everything, - in faith, speech, in


knowledge, in complete earnestness and in your love for us- see
that you also excel in this grace of giving.
2 Corinthians 8:7
2. PROCESS DEVELOPS GOOD CHARACTER

 God’s refined David’s character before he began to reign


and that, led him to be faithful to God.

 It develops our attitude in the ministry and it will show


our attitude towards God and our team

 It will teach you to honor and submit to your leader as


David did to Saul.
3. PROCESS IS A PREPARATION FOR A
GREAT MISSION
2 Samuel 5:1-5
1. Nagkaisa ang lahat ng lipi ng Israel na pumunta sa Hebron
upang makipagkita kay David. Sinabin nila ‘’kami’y Kaman ng
iyong laman at dugo ng iyong dugo.
2. Ng si Saul pa ang Hari naming, pinangunahan mo ang mga kawal
ng Israel sa pakikipagdigma. Ipinangako saiyo ni Yahweh na
ikaw ang magiging Pastol ng Israel at ikaw ang mamumuno sa
kanyang bayan’’
lahat ng pinuno ng Israel ay nagpunta nga sa Hebron at doo’y

nakipagkasundo sa kanya sa harapan ni Yahweh. Binuhusan nila ng Langis si


David at kinilalang Hari ng Israel.

4.30 taon na noon si David ng magsimulang maghari at naghari sa loon ng 40


taon

Sa hebron, pitong taon at kalahati siyang namuno sa Judah. Sa Jerusalem

naman ay 33 taon syang naghari sa buong Israel at Judah.


 Process is a training ground for every believer
 God assigned cell leader/Pastor to train you
and prepare you to fulfil your duty to God
 It is God’s preparation for you.
CONCLUSION

 PROCESS MAKES YOU STRONG IN FAITH

 PROCESS DEVELOPS GOOD CHARACTER

 PROCESS IS A PREPARATION FOR A GREAT
