Gravitation Problems

1. The gravitational force (Fg) between an 8 kg object and the Earth is calculated to be 78.6 N using the mass of the object, mass of the Earth, and distance between their centers. 2. The gravitational force (Fg) between Saturn and the Sun is calculated to be 3.74 x 1022 N. The orbital period of Saturn is also calculated to be 29.3 years. 3. Given the gravitational force between Earth and the Moon, the mass of the Earth is calculated, and using this, the mass of the Moon is calculated to be 7.2 x 1022 kg, and the orbital period is calculated to be 28 days.
