CureToYou Presentation

CureToYou is an online pharmacy web application project that aims to address challenges people face in obtaining medicines and medical information easily. It will allow customers to order medicines from pharmacists, ask doctors questions, and find medical advice online. Introduction
 The incredible advancement of technology in the last decade has led people to depend
tremendously on the internet to complete daily activities such as purchasing clothes, food
delivery, groceries, furniture, and more.

 New devices were created to facilitate people’s life. These devices are providing the freedom to age in
place, to live independently, and to continue moving through everyday life with peace of mind. It
opens up new opportunities by helping with safety, mobility, and connectivity.

 As time moved along, the internet revolution was followed by societal acceptance and adaptation.
Today, we find ourselves in need to transfer vital aspects of our life into the online world. Fields
like entertainment, education, communication are all evolving exponentially every year to meet the
requirements of customers.
Problem Statement
❏ Going out to nearby pharmacies and buying necessary drugs have always been difficult for
some society segments like old citizens and handicapped people who find themselves unable to
perform this task.
❏ In addition, it is difficult to find a trusted source of medical information on the internet which
makes people skeptical about following these instructions. People need to have credible
medical information given by professional doctors.
❏ Apart from that, some people like to go and ask a doctor about non-crucial medical inquiries
without going to a hospital or a clinic and waste both time and effort.
Objective
1 - To derive significant requirements for CureToYou.

2 - To develop responsive web application for CureToYou.

3 - To evaluate the usability of the developed application .


Scope
1. System scope:

● The system will be built as a web application.


● The web application will be responsive.
● The system will be deployed on a linux server.
● It will cover both drugs store and forum.

2. User scope:

● Doctor: The targeted doctors of the system are doctors that want to volunteer to help society by writing
medical advices and reply to user questions.
● Customer: The targeted users of the system are patients who need medicine and any person who want to
ask doctors, get medical advice, or find medical help.
● Pharmacist: The targeted pharmacists of the system are the ones who are going to work on pharmacy,
receive orders, prepare orders, and add products with their images.
● Superuser: The targeted Superuser of the system is the owner of the system.

Usability Testing was conducted with the 4 user types to determine design
inconsistencies and usability problem areas within the user interface and
content areas.

Conclusion
To summarize , society experience challenges in getting medicines, inquiries, and medical
information easily without suffering or having risk by going out.
Accordingly, CureToYou is an online pharmacy that aims to solve the problems and make
getting medicines, inquiries, and medical information easier and more convenient than
traditional ways using its web application.
Limitation and Future Work

Limitation
The website redirect each time user add product to cart or Wishlist.

Future Work
 Use Ajax.
 Add direct chat between customer and pharmacist.
