that are happening

Rules 2. Verbs ending in Consonant + E
1. General Rule
When a verb ends in consonant + E, we
In general you just add -ING to the end remove the E from the end and add ING.

Verbs with one syllable ending in
Verbs ending in IE consonant + vowel + consonant
When a verb with one syllable ends in

remove the IE from the end and add (make two of) the final consonant and add
