• SITUATION:
The Bureau of Corrections will commemorate its 117th
Founding Anniversary at NBP Reservation, Muntinlupa City
on 07-11 November 2022. Part of the celebration is the
conduct of 1st Bureau of Corrections Fun Run (Run for a
Cause) 2022 at NBP Reservation, Muntinlupa City on
0500H, 08 November 2022. This is the 1st Fun Run activity
of BuCor which aims to generate funds for our chosen
charity as well as established strong camaraderie among
the personnel through physical fitness activities.
• Concept of Activity:
The race will start at Sunken Garden, NBP Reservation,
Muntinlupa City towards vicinity Medium Security Compound
for the farthest category (11.7K) and back for the awarding of
winners. Various turnaround points for each category (3K, 5K
and 11.7K) will be determined for easy identification of
runners during the actual activity.
The events are divided into three categories and release
every five minutes interval with respective registration fees
and Race kit inclusions
• Support:
In view of the Command’s conduct of 1st BuCor Fun Run
2022, this Center will provide appropriate personnel as
runners to include its organic personnel and students from
mandatory training and selected CBRC trainees as Traffic
Marshalls during the event proper.
Likewise, prior the activity proper, this Center will also
provide manpower in the venue preparation at BuCor
Grandstand.
