ADMINISTRATIVE PERFORMANCE
Aside from developing combat skills, 2nd PMFC Misamis Oriental also opted
to the development of intellectual aspect, a series of equipment
orientation was also conducted. It includes CODAN and THALES Radio
Communication orientation; Crew-served Weapon and other high-powered
firearms like Negev and Galil orientation; Drone Orientation; Thermal
Imager and Night Vision Goggles (NVG) orientation which were very
important during the conduct of ISO.
OOA 1300H September 22, 2022, at Conference Room, 2nd PMFC Headquarter, Upper Poblacion,
Libertad, Misamis Oriental, personnel of Misamis Oriental Police Provincial Office 10 spearheaded by
PCOL GONZALO C VILLAMOR JR, Provincial Director, together with PMAJ RALPH S SANTOLUMA, OIC
PIU, PMAJ RIO D MACAWILI, Deputy C POMU, PLTCOL MARDY M HORTILLOSA II, Force Commander
2nd PMFC, PCMS Jeffrey A Rabe, Chief Clerk, RCSU 10, 1LT L-JAY D PALATTAO (ARM) PA, Ex-O 41st
Mechanized Infantry Company, and the Security Officers coming from the different Private
Companies of Western Misamis Oriental, conducted Provincial Security Alliance meeting. Topics
discussed were threat assessment and crime situation update (PIU), threat situation, assessment on
CTGs/LTGs (41st Mechanized Infantry Company), R-PSB concept (POMU) and RA 5487 Private Security
Law (RCSU 10).
OOA 1158H 15 May 2022, PLTCOL MARDY M HORTILLOSA II, Force Commander, in
close coordination with Manticao MPS and 41st Mechanized Company PA, conducted
briefing to one (1) Section Mobile Forces of 2nd PMFC, MORPPO held at 2nd PMFC
Headquarter, Upper Poblacion, Libertad, Misamis Oriental to reinforce the Manticao
MPS who were trapped at the aforementioned encountered place.
Reinforcement Operation
OOA 1400H 15 May 2022, the troops started conducting clearing operation
to the area where the alleged more than 20 armed and unarmed members
of CTGs encountered by Manticao MPS, wherein, the exchange of gunfire
lasted for 5 minutes with no casualties to the PNP side. However, the
enemy withdrew towards Mt. Sinai, Manticao, Misamis Oriental.
Clearing Operation
At 1600H of May 15 2022, the clearing
team of 2nd PMFC reached the
encampment area of the alleged CTGs
where the 2nd PMFC troops personally
visited and scourged the encampment site.
The site has traces of cut trees, banana
leaves where they eat and stored their
food, scattered grains of rice, strands of
hair newly cut, area where they cook there
food and the traces of areas where they
laid down to rest. The section withdrew
from the area at around 1620H to regroup,
resupply and prepare for next clearing
operations. Coordination with 41st
Mechanized Company is undertaken for
joint efforts to contain the CTGs.
