INTRODUCTION
Gardening can be a relaxing and rewarding
hobby, but it can also be time-consuming and
physically demanding. A gardening robot
could help automate the process of plant
care, allowing individuals with limited mobility
or busy schedules to enjoy the benefits of
gardening without the time and effort
required for manual labor. This study aims to
design and develop a gardening robot that
can water plants, remove weeds, and monitor
soil moisture levels.
Review of Related Literature:
There are several existing gardening robots on the
market, such as the Tertill weed-killing robot and the
Husqvarna Automower. These robots use sensors and
algorithms to navigate outdoor environments and
perform specific tasks. However, there is still room
for improvement in terms of the capabilities and
affordability of these devices.
Review of Related Literature:
In a study published in the Journal of Field Robotics,
researchers developed a robotic system for precision
weed control in row crops. The system utilized a
camera and machine learning algorithms to identify
and spray individual weeds with herbicide, reducing
the need for manual labor and reducing the amount
of herbicide required overall.

CONCLUSION
A gardening robot has the potential to revolutionize
the way we care for plants and gardens. By
automating tasks like watering and weeding,
individuals can spend less time on manual labor and
more time enjoying their gardens. With the
development of new technologies and materials, the
possibilities for creating efficient and affordable
gardening robots are endless.
