Examinations
Cambridge Assessment
- a department of the University of Cambridge

• We prepare school students for

life, helping them develop an
informed curiosity and a lasting
passion for learning
 Cambridge learner attributes:
 Confident in working with information and ideas – their own
and those of others
 Responsible for themselves, responsible to and respectful of
others
 Reflective as learners, developing their ability to learn
 Innovative and equipped for new and future challenges
 Engaged intellectually and socially, ready to make a
difference
We design all our curriculum and assessments with
the Cambridge learner attributes in mind. The five
attributes are our way of recognising that students
need to develop attitudes and life skills throughout
their education, as well as academic skills, in order
to be successful at university
Cambridge Assessment International
Education
 Omega follows the CAIE programme for Primary and
Middle school.
 Cambridge Secondary Checkpoint tests have been
designed to assess learners at the end of stage 8 the final
year of Cambridge Secondary.
 They test learners from Stages 6-8 of the curriculum for
 English
 Math
 Science
The tests are marked by Cambridge and provide
schools with an external international benchmark
for learner performance.
Each learner receives a statement of achievement
and a diagnostic feedback report, giving schools
detailed information and parents extra trust in the
feedback they receive.
Give valuable feedback on learners’ strengths and
weaknesses before they progress to the next stage
of education.
 Results are given as Cambridge Secondary 1
scores.
 These scores are between 0.0 and 6.0, ranging
from the weakest performance to the best performance.
