basic question, “What do we want to
become?”

 The vision statement should be short,


preferably one sentence, and as many
managers as possible should have input
into developing the statement.

 This process should create an “emotional


link” and “sense of mission” between the
organization and its employees to engage

statement?

 Simple - should be punchy and to the point


 Personal - how your business is going to improve
the lives of your customers or what your company sell
or does.

 Achievable - Dream big, But don’t create


exaggerated goals.
