INTRODUCTION
• Students in JHS Grade 10 will choose from four specialization options
• Student's personality came from their selected education that improved their job
satisfaction and good grades.
• The careers that students choose will have an influence on the rest of their life.
• This research is conducted to find out the factors affecting grade 10 students in
choosing their preferred tracks for senior highschool
STATEMENT OF THE
PROBLEM
•This study aims to identify the factors affecting Grade 10 students in choosing

their preferred tracks in senior highschool.

• 1.What is the profile of the grade students in terms of:

REVIEW OF RELATED
LITERATURE
• A lot of factors must be considered in choosing a strand.
• Duffy and Sedlacek from 1995 to 2004 revealed that male preferred to select careers which will generate
money and female would like to select career which will concentrate on working with people and those
which can contribute to society
• In the study of La(2009) revealed that parent’ supports, school structure, gender and grade point average
have considerable influence on the Vietnamese Senior high school students’ educational and career choice
• It was clear that the aforemeantioned related literature and studies that there are Factors affecting
grade 10 students in choosing their preferred track for senior highschool.
CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK OR
RESEARCH PARADIGM
• Our objective is to know that factors in order to know that factors we have to know
their age,gender, Preferred tracks and why they chose that track
• The paradigm first show that our problem is the factors affecting grade 10 students
in choosing their preferred tracks in SHS.
CHAPTER 1II
RESEARCH DESIGN
• This research entitled Factors affecting grade 10 students in choosing their
preferred tracks for Senior high schooI student is a qualitative research
• The respondents were purposely chosen because the researcher believed that
through purposive sampling, we obtained a representative sample by using a sound
judgement.
SAMPLING TECHNIQUE
• The aim of the qualitative research is to understand, from within , the subjective
reality of the study participants.
• Purposive sampling was used in this study.
• The respondents of the study were the selected (30) grade 10 students of naic
coastal national highschool for the school year 2021-2022.
RESPONDENTS
• This study will focused on the students of the Naic Coastal National Highschool.
• The grade 10 students were the respondents of this study
• The survey questionnaire sheet will be distributed to selected grade 10 students.
INSTRUMENT
• The researcher uses survey questionnaire to gather data from respondents.
• The researcher uses survey questionnaire to gather data from respondents.
Questionnaires are composed of 10 questions.
• . Questions are related to the topic Factors affecting grade 10 students in choosing
their preferred tracks for Senior high school students
DATA GATHERING PROCEDURE
• The data will be collected and tallied after giving individual sheets of questionnaires
to the grade 10 students of Naic coastal national highschool.
• The data that will be gathered from the answers of the respondents should be
subjected to appropriate computation for reliability.
SUMMARY AND FINDINGS

• The study has proven that there are factors affecting grade 10 students
in choosing their preferred tracks for senior highschool
CONCLUSION

• There are many factors affecting grade 10 students in choosing their


career for senior highschool.
RECOMMENDATION

• There are many problem that I found out while doing my studies.
