This course focuses on the application of
scientific knowledge and the solution of
practical problems in a physical
environment. It is designed to bridge the
gap between theoretical science and daily
living.

During Online Classes
1. Attend the virtual class and academic
consultation on time.
2. Videos must always be turned on during
virtual class and academic consultation.
3. During online classes, unnecessary and
unrelated activities like chatting, texting,
managing social media accounts, eating
and the likes are strictly prohibited.
III. RULES AND REGULATION
Note:
If the schedule does not call for a virtual class or an
online consultation, the student is expected to
complete the tasks (in the Self Instructional
Material, textbook or other works) assigned by the
teacher.
For monitoring purposes, the student must secure
means of verification (MOV) through taking photos or
screenshots of his/her accomplishment/s.

On Attendance and Absence
1. Your attendance will be taken in the form of your
response/participation in the Discussion Forums
through chat box, LMS or text message.
2. A student who obtains an absence, if due to
sickness, must secure a medical certificate or, if
due to other reasons, must present an excuse
letter for being absent with indicated reason and
parent’s signature or other supporting document.

3. A student is responsible for making up all work
missed during the period of his/her absence. Thus
he/she must make the necessary and proper
coordination with his/her subject teacher
regarding missed activities. No special quizzes
shall be given unless the student presents valid
reason of absence supported by proofs.

On Submission of Subject Requirements
1. Subject requirements must be submitted on time.
Late submission might affect student’s score.
2. The student is responsible to do proper
coordination to his/her subject teacher regarding
any difficulty or problems he/she might encounter
in the fulfillment of the subject requirements. In
this case the subject teacher can provide the
necessary support or help to enable the student to
submit the requirements on time.

On Academic Dishonesty
Cheating or plagiarism in any form will not be
tolerated. Thus, a proven case of academic
dishonesty will result in a student receiving a
grade of “0” for that specific activity or
assessment.

80 and above if this is the specialized
subject of the chosen field.
