COMPOST TEA
A purely and naturally ORGANIC LIQUID
FERTILIZER with disease control qualities.
It is a brownish and translucent liquid extract
from compost containing concentrated
nutrients: macro and micro nutrients which is
readily available for plant absorption. It also
has naturally occurring hormones that only
nature can provide. Blended with beneficial
microorganisms, it helps suppress disease
and resist pest infestations.
BENEFICIAL EFFECTS OF CONTINUOUS and
REGULAR APPLICATION OF COMPOST TEA
 Thru correct processing and proper application of the
compost, improvement of soil aeration, drainage and
reduction of soil moisture depletion will be attained.
 Vigorous and healthy plant growth
 Shortened cropping time due to acceleration of plant
growth
 Promotes flowering and fruiting
 Exceptional market value due to increase in the quality
of the produce
ADVANTAGES OF COMPOST
TEA
 Compost is enhanced. It is more potent than the compost
itself
 Beneficial microbe is increased 100 to 500 times more in
compost tea than average compost
 It can be applied as a foliar spray and as root or soil drench
 Increased in area of coverage
 No overdose and burning effects to the plants
 It is non-toxic to both growers and consumers
 When mixed, compost tea is compatible with most organic
liquid
 Eliminates costly store-bought fertilizers, fungicides and
other pesticides
 It can be done in one’s home or farm area using a compost
brewing machine

REX COMPOST TEA
BREWER
The Rex compost tea brewer is a device to
produce compost tea of superior quality. It is
designed to extract the nutrients and the
beneficial microbes while at the same time
multiplying their population present in the
compost. The product is manufactured with
the use of mass-produced and locally
available materials processed with utmost
consideration on durability and efficiency to
produce high quality compost tea
economically within reach of many growers.
BREWING MADE EASY!!!
The Procedure
Fill agitator barrels with 2 kg vermicasts
Pour untreated water up to the level as marked on the bucket
Add 1 kg brown sugar or mascubado or molasses to the water in the
bucket( not inside agitator barrels!). This will serve as food for
microbes
Brew for 48 to 72 hours by plugging-in the motors
Aerate on the 3rd day using the outside bubbler to maintain the life of
microbes in the resulting solution
Collect the resulting liquid solution (CONCENTRATED compost tea) using
the faucet dispenser, after brewing
Dilute 1 liter CONCENTRATED compost tea with 15 liters untreated water.
Making a total volume of 16 liters
Drench the plants with diluted compost tea (16 liters). Good for 16 liters back-
pack sprayer
Dilute & the remaining concentrated compost tea immediately, not lately 8 hours
Apply after brewing
** Note: Dilution can be adjusted from 1:15 to 1:10 depending on the
plants’ condition (diseased plant may need higher concentration).
APPLICATION
(for orchids, vegetables, herbs, ornamentals, lawns, forest trees)

Time : Early morning, not later


than 9 am or late afternoon
not earlier than 4 pm

Frequency : Twice a month or weekly

** also as compost inoculant to hasten decomposition**
