numbers that are added repeatedly.

Multiple is the product result of one number
multiplied by another number.
Let us list down the multiples of 3

3x1=3 3 x 6 = 18
3x2=6 3 x 7 = 21
3x3=9 3 x 8 = 24
3 x 4 = 12 3 x 9 = 27
3 x 5 = 15 3 x 10= 30
Therefore the multiples of 3 are 3, 6, 9, 12,15,18,21,24,27,30.
Look at the model blocks below. Try to analyze how you can
get the multiples of 4. When you multiply 4 by 1, 2, 3, and 4,
you can get multiples of this number.

4x1= 4 4x2= 8 4x3= 12 4x4= 16

Therefore the multiples of 4 are 4,8,12,16..

How to get the
factors of a
number?
Multiplying two whole numbers
gives a product. The numbers that
we multiply are the factors of the
product.
