HEAT SINKER,COOLING
Heat Sink – Definition & Use
A heat sink is an object that
absorbs and dissipates heat
from another object using
thermal contact (either direct
or radiant).
Heat sinks are used in a
Computer Processors to keep it
safe from the heat produced by
it as heat can melt its circuit
wires or even whole circuit.

CONSTRUCTION
Electronic components
generate heat. Too much heat
can damage components.
A case fan makes the cooling
process more efficient.
A heat sink draws heat away
Case Fan
from the core of the CPU. A fan
on top of the heat sink moves
CPU Fan the heat away from the CPU.
Fans are dedicated to cool the
Graphics-processing unit
(GPU).
