INTENTION
A. Definition B. Social Function
 intention is “ something that you want and plan to do” To state or something intended to
do in the future
In daily life,it is common for use to tell other people about
our intention or plan to do something in the future. Expreesion of intention merupakan
suatu istilah ekspresi atau ungkapan
We also frequently ask them, or they ask us about that. For yang sering digunakan dalam
telling intention or plan, we can use be going to + simple verb Bahasa inggris untuk menyatakan
and would like to + simple verb suatu niat,rencana atau sesuatu
Intention Expression biasa digunakan jika seseorang berniat yang ingin dicapai atau diraih
melakukan sesuatu. “Ungkapan yang digunakan untuk
membicarakan rencana:

Simpl Sebuah bentuk kata yg Woul Artinya ingin. Digunakan utk
e mengungkapkan tindakan atau d menunjukkan keinginan,
Futur keadaan di masa depan Like rencana dan ajakan
e Pattern : S + Will/Be going to + Verb 1+ to
Tense O+C
E.G :
Pattern : S + Would Like to + Verb 1
I will call you tonight E.G : I would like to leave soon
I am going to visit my grandma next month (saya ingin segera pergi)
“will” vs “ Be going to”
will: utk rencana tiba2 atau prediksi
Be going to : utk rencana yg matang
Note: Be (Is/am/are)

1. Would like to is used to show what you
WOULD LIKE TO would be interested in doing.
2. It is more about WILLINGNESS to do
Pattern : something. Or in other word,” Would like”
Subject + Would like to + simple verb+O+C is a polite way to say “I want” in English.
