Minimum system requirements to install RHEL -7 • Processor:- 64-bit processor with virtualization capability • RAM Required: - 1 GB • Optical Drive • Storage:- 20 GB of Disk Space • Network: 1GB/S supported Active Network Connection Redhat Enterprise Linux Installation
Select “Install Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.0 and Enter
Select “English” and “English (India)” then Continue Click on “SOFTWARE SELECTION” Select “Server With GUI” and Done Click on “Installation Destination” Select “I will configure partitioning” and Done Select “Standard partitioning “Click on “+ Symbol” ” and Select “Mount Point” as “/” after that mention “Desired Capacity” as per your requirement. And select “Add mount Point” Click on “+ Symbol” ” and Select “Mount Point” as “swap” after that mention “Desired Capacity” as per your RAM size. And select “Add mount Point” If You want to check your RAM size during installation you can press key combination Alt+Ctrl+F2 , you can access CLI and using Free command and meminfo file yon can know RAM size. After complete this task back to installation process with key combination Alt+Ctrl+F6. After creating “/” and “swap” partition click on “Done” Click on Accept Changes Click on Network & Hostname Switch On Ethernet Port and Done Select Begin Installation Set Root Password by Click on Root Password You Can also Create an User Account Click On Reboot Thank you
