Volatile Oil
Volatile oils are products which are generally complex
in composition , consisting of the volatile principles
contained in plants and are more or less modified during
the preparation process . As they evaporate when exposed
to air to ordinary temperature, they are also called ethered
oil.
Example: Rose oil, Peppermint oil.
