Installing Telnet in

Scanner Guns
Harmony Phase III
Software Required
The below mentioned softwares are needed to be installed in the
laptop.
• Wavelink Telnet CE 6.0 : This is the software used to transfer “telnet” to the
gun for an established connection. The installer file is attached below. Incase it does not
work, please download from the below link.

• Windows Mobile Device Center : This is the software that establishes


connection between the laptop and the Scanner Gun through the cradle. This needs to be
downloaded from the Microsoft site. The installer file is attached, however you can
download from the below link.

Steps to Push the Software
I. Complete the Hardware connection
II. Post Hardware connection the device should show as connected in Windows
Mobile Device Center.

Sometimes Windows fails to connect to the device. Follow the steps in


Appendix I to make the connection work.

III. Open Wavelink software. Click on the ‘Application Only’ button to migrate the
software to the scanner guns. Follow the next steps as depicted in the screens below.

Appendix I: Enable Mobile Device Center Connectivity
Post Hardware connection, run the Windows Mobile Device Center. If it shows as
not connected, follow the below steps on the Scanner Gun to make it work.
