Sir CRR Public School: Arduino Based Bluetooth Control Car

1) The project aims to design a Bluetooth controlled car robot using an Arduino microcontroller for serial communication via Bluetooth. 2) Key components include an Arduino, motor driver, Bluetooth module, and four gear motors. The Arduino acts as the brain to control the components. 3) The Bluetooth module interacts with a mobile app to control the direction of the vehicle remotely. Potential applications include industrial and military robotics. Future work could integrate sensors and a wireless camera.

The project aims at designing a
Robot which can be controlled
using Bluetooth
Introduction
Bluetooth controlled car is a robot which is
built using Atmega328p Microcontroller in
which serial communication is done via
Bluetooth and programming is done in
embedded C language
COMPONENTS
Arduino
Atmega328p
micro controller
04 Gear motors
02 L298N motor
driver

03 Bluetooth module HC-05

ARDUINO
Arduino is an open source computer
hardware and software company, project and
user community that designs and
manufactures single-board microcontrollers
and microcontroller kits for building digital
devices and interactive objects that can
sense and control objects in the physical
world. It will be the brain of the robot, as it
will be running the software that will control
all the other parts
L298N motor driver
• It is required to supply sufficient current
to motors as microcontrollers

• It is a dual H-Bridge motor means it can

drive two DC motors simultaneously in
both clockwise and anticlockwise
direction

• Its input terminals are controlled by the

microcontroller

7
BLUETOOTH MODULE [ HC-05 ]
• HC-05 module is an easy to use Bluetooth SPP
(Serial Port Protocol ) module, designed for
transparent wireless serial connection setup. It
interacts with mobile application to control the
direction of the vehicle. It has four pins:
1.VCC (Power 3.3-6V)
2.GND
3.TXD
4.RXD

8
ANDROID
• It is designed primarily for touch screen mobile
devices like smart phones and tablet
computers
• User interface of android is based on Direct
Manipulation
• Internal hardware such as accelerometers,
gyroscopes and bluetooth module are used by
some applications to respond to additional user
actions
APPLICATIONS
• It can be used in various industries where
human intervention is not desired
• It can be used to develop robot with military
applications
• It provides more applications based on android
operating system
• With tremendous smart phone in markets it is
bound to have many more applications in near
future
10
FUTURE WORK
• We can interface sensors to this robot so that it
can monitor some parameters
• We can add wireless camera to this robot
