 IMMS is a pervasive computer software system
used to manage and coordinate all the resources,
information and function of a business from
share data stores.
 IMMS is not exactly ERP system but the concept
used to design this IMMS is same as ERP system.
 It is developed by “SOURCEPRO INFOTECH PVT
LTD”
 The cost of this software is around 5 lac rupees.
 IMMS is developed using VB6 and .net.
 Database used for this system is SQL Server.
 There is one admin for whole system.
Admin can enter into the system using
user id and password.
 Admin can give rights to the user of the
system above screenshot you can see
that admin can select person’s name,
department and accordingly that give
the particular user rights.
 For example a person can add but can
not delete than select YES in add
column and NO in delete column.
 At any time admin can change the
rights.
 Again in each department Manager of
the department has all the rights
related to that department.
 In engineering module a code for each and every
item is being generated.
 Each item could be identified with particular
code that has already produced by engineering
module.
 Whenever any new item is introduced first it is
being directed to engineering module for item
code generation.
 After getting the code for that particular item
the inventory settings for that item comes into
the picture.
 This module is used to introduce any new item.
 In which we have to apply unique code for the
particular item, unit of measurement, item class,
item type, size & reference code if any.
 Also mention Nature of item to identify the item
that where exactly it falls under which category.
 Can also mention the detail description about
that item. But it is optional
 This is used to structures any product.
 Product is being made with the
combination of different items. In this
module different items come under one
root for developing a product.
Weight
Product Furnace screen 305 kg
Item Upper Ring 65 kg
Item Bottom Ring 85 kg
Item Rode 105 kg
Item XYZ 50 kg
TOTAL 305 kg
WEIGHT:
 The code generated for any product in
engineering module also takes effect in sales
module for selling that particular product.
 We can say it’s a linkage between
engineering module and sale module.
 After structurizing the product containing all
other sub products the bill is being generated
in this module.
 After delivering the product to the customer
if any changes requires by customers then it
is being noted in customer change note entry
module.
 In this module the details about each and
every shop is provided
Example: cut off, packing, pouring, finished
shop etc.
 It contains all the data about all the
machineries
 It contains a unique work centre code for that
particular machine & the description about it.
 Italso contains the rates for the machine on
hourly bases in the form of rate codes.
 It also defines the number of employees
require for that machine and machine’s
production capacity on hourly bases.
 Here we can set the rate per hour for any
particular machine.
 Planning optimizes the utilization of
manufacturing capacity, parts, components
and material resources using historical
production data and sales forecasting.

 Thismodule is used by sales department,

purchase department, production
department for forecasting & planning.
 In this module all the planning related to
sales, purchases and production are come
together and it gives detail information.
 Here you can make order forecasting, keep
idea about the needed things ex. Row
material etc
 In this module on the basis of forecasting
entry if any demand is generated then it will
be served and entry for the demand on the
bases of the forecasting order will be added
here in allocation through demand module.
 Here after demand is generated through
order forecasting the order is being placed
now after order generated the work
regarding to order maintenance is being take
care in work order maintenance module. Ex.
Timings for product servicing etc.
 Purchase plays a very important role in a manufacturing
organization. Purchase always pumps store with oxygen and keep
it alive.
 Purchase procures all sorts of items or product required by the
organization, provides all departments with their necessary item
requirements, keeps a ready count of the quantity of the different
items and deals with the suppliers in an endeavor to procure new
stock.
 The Purchase module controls the inventory purchasing side of
your business. You can track Purchase Orders, supplier prices, and
quantities on order.
 With the usage of Purchase module you will increase your
inventory efficiency and eliminate costly shortages.
 The standard purchasing flow in IMMS is as follows.
 Orders are planned to cover customer and production
requirements.
 Messages are created identifying item, priority, and
release timing.
 Orders are reviewed; vendors, quantities, terms are
changed and approved.
 Orders are sent to the vendor through email.
 Receiving process inbound material according to quality
specifications.
 Receiving routes materials based on production and
customer requirements.
 Accounts payable is updated from receiving process.
 Production Department works between the Marketing
and the Dispatch Department.
 Key Features:
 Bill of Material
 Definition of product formula
 Definition of process structure
 Material Requirement Planning
 Raw Material planning based on pending sales order , Stock in Hand
 Automatic generation of PR for procurement of Raw material
 Production Order Management
 Execution of work order based on different parameters
 Resource scheduling
 Production Reporting
 Recording the production output against the work order
 Wastage and rework quantity reporting
 Production Department works between the Marketing and the
Dispatch Department. After getting the work order from the
Marketing Department production starts producing the items.
 This will be a small module. This module will just handle a tiny
portion of production. The module begins with Product
creation. This module is mainly designed to monitor day-to-
day production progress. On completion of any work order
information will be passed on to dispatch for delivery. Reports
on delivery schedule will be available in this module. All figures
are protected under password. Only authorized person will be
eligible to access information from this module.
 It is integrated part of this module.
 The system store the start time and end time
of the process done by each machine and
maintain the cost that is incurred for that
specific process.
 Thispart of the system stores the detail of
non functioning machines in the department
of production and also has the clear reason
for non-functioning so that whenever the
company in future can verify the low
production reason in the specific period due
to nonfunctioning of the machine.
 Revenues from sales are live blood for
commercial organizations
 Sales module implements functions of order
placement, order scheduling, shipping and
invoicing. Sales module is closely integrated
with organizations' ecommerce websites.
 In this Customer sales Master all the information of the
customer is recorded.

 Than type of customer is selected. i.e. customer is either
basic customer, dealer, distributor, agent etc.
 In Tax Detail tab information related to tax calculations is
there.
 For example if customer is from out of Gujarat, than CST

 Calculations of tax for this customer will be different.
 In Financial Detail tab information about payment for
particular client is recorded. i.e. how much payment is
done, how much payment is remaining and also remaining
payment days is mentioned.
 In these sub module shipment addresses of
various customer are stored.
 If only one address is stored whenever the
customer place an ordered if another address is
not mentioned than goods supplied at the stored
address.
 If two or more address are mentioned than every
time when order is placed one has to select that
address for delivery mentioned by customer.
 Two possibilities are there
1 Quotation based on inquiry reference
2 Quotation based on without inquiry

reference
 It is a sub module.
 After Quotation is prepared than print out is
taken out in Quotation Printing.
 Two possibilities are there.
1 Sales order receipt with quotation reference
2 Sales order receipt with out quotation reference
