Introduction to the topic

• college management system is to automate all functionalities


of a college or university.

• This is used to view or update data or information of students


and staff easily.

• Student can also check course detail online from this system
objectives
• The main objective of this college management system is to
manage the functions automatically.

• Main objective of college management system project is to


record various details of activities of the college.

• This system can maintain huge number of college records


including student, course, attendance, employee etc.

• College management project is designed to remove all the


deficiency of the current system.
Company profile
• Shree Sainath College of Pharmacy, is situated in the prime area in
proximity to Amravati Road of Nagpur. It is approved by All India Council
for Technical Education, New Delhi, and Directorate of Technical Education
Government of Maharashtra & is affiliated to the University of Nagpur.

• The College is situated in a sprawling campus includes Wi-Fi networks,


well-equipped laboratories, spacious lecturer Hall, canteen, herbal garden,
spacious playground. All this makes conducive, comfortable and natural
atmosphere, which provides a healthy and quality education environment
for the students to achieve their goals with developed Personality.

• The College is endeavouring to become a 'Continuous education centre',


where new knowledge pertaining to the pharmacy field is generated on a
regular basis.
Research methodology
• Research Design Process
In the following part a brief explanation of the two research methods, qualitative and
quantitative, is given as well as reasons why qualitative method was chosen and how the
research was approached.
 
• Sample Selection
A sample is true representative of the population. The representation would be statistical or
non-statistical. When the population is very large, it is not possible physically and
economically to meet every member in the population. Hence, the samples are selected.
 
• Sampling Technique Used
In this project, the technique of sampling used was Random and Purposive Sampling.
This type of sampling requires prior knowledge of population about the managerial
operations of the college.
The students of college were considered as the sample.

• This new college management system is very helpful
in this era.

• Very minimal or no complaints have been received


regarding this new system.

• This new system decreases 90% of human’s work.

• Effective communication between teachers, parents and students.
• Creation of school’s tech-savvy image.
• Complete automation of all operations.
• Centrally stored information with zero redundancy.
• Best possible resource optimization.
• Auto-generation of teachers timetable with dynamic substitute
management.
• Availability of microscopic as well as macroscopic views.
• Cost-effective one point solution for total school management.
Suggestion/Recommendation
• The development of the new system contains the following activities, which try to
automate the entire process keeping in view of the database integration approach.
 
• User friendliness is provided in the application with various controls.
 
• The system makes the overall project management much easier and flexible.

• It can be accessed over the Internet.


 
• Various classes have been used to provide file upload and mail features.

• There is no risk of data mismanagement at any level while the project development is
under process.
 
• It provides high level of security using different protocols like https etc.
