This document presents a drying tunnel that uses renewable energy sources from agricultural waste to dry fruits and vegetables. The drying tunnel uses pellets made from materials like orchard sawdust, plum pits, and nut shells to heat air up to 95°C. Tests showed the system could dry 1500kg of raw materials while reducing fossil fuel usage. An automation system precisely controls the temperature, humidity, and air velocity throughout the drying process. The results demonstrate the viability of using local agricultural waste as an energy source for drying, which provides energy security, reduces waste, and supports rural development through job creation.
