Human Person in Society: Introduction To The Philosophy of The Human Person

This document discusses how individuals are shaped by social contexts and relationships. It examines how social media like Facebook can lead to depression as people often only post positive images and experiences, leading to comparisons that cause dissatisfaction. While online interactions are important, establishing real-world interactions with friends and family is vital for finding true acceptance and self-esteem. The modern age encourages dullness, conformity and lack of genuine individuality as people conform to idealized online profiles instead of being their authentic selves. Different eras and forms of society, including agrarian, industrial, virtual and political are compared in terms of how they influence individuality.
