Surperlatives Adjectives

etc. you use the Superlative:

Rules 1. One syllable adjectives

The +Adjective + est


Old ----------- the oldest
Fast ------------ the fastest

 My house is the oldest In the neighborhood


 My house is the newest in the street.
 My computer is the fastest of all
 My aunt cooks very tasty. She is the richest in the family
 Juan is the fastest in the room

2. One syllable adjectives
 if the adjective ends in consonant, vowel, consonant, double the last consonant

 The Amazonas is the biggest river of the planet


 Juan is the fastest in the room
 Girardot is the hottest of the municipalities
 the Sahara desert is the hottest in the world

4. Adjectives ending in – y
