INTRODUCTION
Significance of the Study
Statement of the Problem
1. What is the efficiency rate of the motor used in the solar-
powered household bin lifter in terms of work over an
observed period of time?
2. How appropriate is the design and mobility of the lifter
when in use? Is it user-friendly for household owners?
3. What is the maximum speed obtained when lifting waste
bin from ground to the truck?
4. How many minutes does one lifting take using the solar-
powered lifter?
Objectives of the Study
This study aims to develop a functioning design of an
automated mechanical power lifter for the purpose of the
following:
1. To design and develop a solar-powered household bin lifter.
2. To test and identify the motor and power screw efficiency applied in
the solar-powered household bin lifter;
3. To calculate the different efficiencies and evaluate the performance
desired for the design of the solar-powered household bin lifter;
4. To provide an alternative answer to the worrisome health risks that
accompany the manual handling of waste especially to the
muscular_x0002_skeletal system; and
5. To speed up the work and reduce the amount of physical work
exerted by laborers.

Conclusions and Recommendations
1. To fully implement the proposed design of the solar powered
household
bin lifter in order to answer more questions that would arise in this
study;
2. To promote the utilization of existing materials in order to practice
recycling and also solid waste management. This recommendation
is not only for the benefit of future researches but also as support for
the community and nationwide campaign for proper Solid Waste
Management;
3. Lastly, to come up with better alternatives that could improve the
design of the solar powered household bin lifter to maximize the
potential of this study
