Mathematical symbols in MS Excel

+ = Addition/Sum

- = Subtraction/Minus

* = Multiplication

/ = Division

^ = Power

= = Defines a function
Formulas in Excel

Addition = =sum(First cell:last cell) or =sum(First cell,Second cell)

Subtraction = =(First cell-last cell)

Multiplication = =(First Cell*Second Cell)

Division = =(First Cell/Second Cell)

Power = =(First cell^x*Second Cell)

x= any number
