Most residents are male ages 15-17 referred from Agusan del Norte and Butuan City for suspended sentence or ongoing trial.

REGIONAL

REHABILITATION CENTER
FOR YOUTH (RRCY)
 Established in 2001 by virtue of PD 603, the center is
dedicated to serve children and youth in Caraga who have
committed an offense under suspended sentence.
 Designed to provide residential care and rehabilitative services
for youth offenders to protect and promote their well-being.
 Situated in Patin-ay, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur, the center
has served CICLs by prviding different services which geared
towards improving their social functioning
 Success stories of discharged residents who were either
employed in the government and private offices, finished their
education, while others decided to serve with their respective
church.
 It has a fifty (50) bed capacity catering CICLs all
over Caraga
 The center is currently manned with 34 trained
personnel who are dedicated to provide the best
programs and services for the residents

PROGRAMS AND SERVICES
A. HOMELIFE SERVICES/GROUP LIVING
ARRANGEMENTS
 Services are therapeutic in nature. House parents
attend to the basic needs of the residents like food,
clothing, referral for medical/dental care.
 In coordination with other members of multi-
disciplinary team, implements religious and social
activities, tutorial lessons, and involvement in
income generating activities.
B. PSYCHOSOCIAL INTERVENTION
 Series of interviews through the Psychologist and
Social Workers for individualized or group
counselling to resolve social and personal
difficulties while staying at the center in order to
preserve equilibrium and prevent commission of
misdemeanor.
 Social Workers conducts group work sessions to
facilitate expression of feelings with their fellow
residents to solve problems and to teach members
to emphatize with one another.
C. SUPPORT SERVICES/INTERVENTIONS
 Conduct of Alternative Learning System (ALS) class in lieu of the
formal class to allow those who stopped schooling before their
admission and continue their studies for those who were in-school.
 Acquisition of employable skills through enrollment on vocational
courses in coordination with other agencies such as Technical
Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
 Socio-cultural and Recreational Program such as joint socialization
with Home for Girls (HFG), Sports fest, and attendance to
Naliyagan Festival are among the activities to relieve aggression,
anxiety, and frustrations.
 Regular Mass and Bible Study which helps the residents restore
their positive values, attitudes, and characters to sustain their
positive dealings.
FUND UTILIZATION
 The Center has already disbursed the
amount of Php 8,245,858.42 or 69.78%
of the total allotment.
 The remaining balance of Php
1,639,938.86 is targeted to be utilized
the end of the 4th quarter.
