Title Lorem Ipsum: Laplace Transformation

The document provides examples and explanations of Laplace transformations. It defines the Laplace transform of a function f(t) as F(s). It then gives examples of finding the Laplace transform of several common functions like constants, t, e^at, sin(t), and cos(t). It also discusses properties of Laplace transforms like linearity and how they can be used to solve differential equations and analyze systems.

Laplace Transformation

Let f be a real valued piecewise continuous function defined on [ 0 , ∞]

The integral is evaluated with respect to t, hence once the limits are
substituted, what is left are in terms of s.
 Let f be a function. Its Laplace transform (function) is denoted by the
corresponding capitol letter F. Another notation is L(f).

 Input to the given function f is denoted by t; input to its Laplace

transform F is denoted by s.

 By default, the domain of the function f=f(t) is the set of all nonnegative
real numbers. The domain of its Laplace transform depends on f and can
vary from a function to a function. The Laplace Transform L(f)

Let f,g be functions such that L{f} and L{g} exist.

Let λ , μ ∈ R.

Then :

L{λf(t) + μg(t)}=λ L{f(t)} + μ L{g(t)}
