COVID-19 has rapidly affected our day to day life, businesses, disrupted the world trade and movements.
Identification of the disease at an early stage is vital to control the spread of the virus because it very rapidly
spreads from person to person. Most of the countries have slowed down their manufacturing of the products.
The various industries and sectors are affected by the cause of this disease; these include the pharmaceuticals
industry, solar power sector, tourism, Information and electronics industry. This virus creates significant knock-
on effects on the daily life of citizens, as well as about the global economy.
Presently the impacts of COVID-19 in daily life are extensive and have far reaching consequences. These can
be divided into various categories:

A) Healthcare
• Challenges in the diagnosis, quarantine and treatment of suspected or confirmed cases
• High burden of the functioning of the existing medical system
• Patients with other disease and health problems are getting neglected
• Overload on doctors and other healthcare professionals, who are at a very high risk
• Overloading of medical shops
• Requirement for high protection
• Disruption of medical supply chain.
B) Economic-
• Slowing of the manufacturing of essential goods
• Disrupt the supply chain of products
• Losses in national and international business
• Poor cash flow in the market
• Significant slowing down in the revenue growth.
C) Social-
• Service sector is not being able to provide their proper service
• Avoiding the national and international travelling and cancellation of services
• Disruption of celebration of cultural, religious and festive events
• Undue stress among the population
• Closure of the hotels, restaurants and religious places
• Closure of places for entertainment such as movie and play theatres, sports clubs, gymnasiums,
swimming pools, and so on.

PRE COVID ERA

• Not much usage and adoption of technology in education.
• Language apps, virtual tutoring, video conferencing tools, or
online learning software were not very popular.
• Educational tours for college students.

POST COVID ERA

• Schools are Forced To Accept And Adopt Technology
• Teachers are Empowered Through Technology
• Cancellation of Examinations
• Closing of Schools and Colleges
• Tuitions are Disrupted
• Data-Based Personalization has made Teaching More Student-
Centric
• Living In Harmony With Nature.
2) Working Style-

Pre Covid19
• Work are done in the proper office and there is physical
presence.
• Flexibilities are less in the working style related to working our
place .

Post Covid19
• After Covid the working style of individual and the way of
working in the office will be changed.
• Wearing a mask in the office premise will last for few more
time.
• Work from home is one of the major changes can be seen by
the individual so, that they can perform there task with more
flexibility.
• Google has made work from home till 2021 june.
 4) HYGIENE CARE-

Pre Covid19
Before Covid19 the Hygiene care is there but people
focus more on protecting there self from the big
disease.
• Casual attitude in personal care among the
individual can be observed before this pandemic
situation.
• Before Covid19 consume less amount of hygiene
products.
Post Covid19
• Pandemic has made individual more aware of
need to maintain hygiene, at a personal level as
well as at home, to reduce the chances of
infection and this is expected to become a trend
in the long-run.
• After Covid19 more use of hygiene products will
be there in domestic use.
 3) FUN ACTIVITIES-

Pre Covid19
Before Covid19 people use to go outside for there
entertainment like:
• Watching movies in theaters : Before Covid a large
number of people visit the cinema halls to watch
movies.
• Playing at parks or grounds: Physical activities are
more active before the covid19.

Post Covid19
After Covid number of visit in any theater or play ground
will be reduced.
• Individual will enjoy to online streaming with there
comfort level.
• Virtual mode of playing games become more popular
after the Covid.
5)Shopping Style

Pre Covid19
The style of shopping before Covid19 is in the physical form.
• Used to go in the shopping malls or the local shop to buy
the product.
• Utilization of app are lesser to purchase the daily products

Post Covid19
After Covid19 customer will be habitual to purchase the
product through online medium and there is chances in
increase in the use of apps and home delivery options.
• Apps like gofers and Big basket will be used more
frequently to purchase groceries.
6) Travelling

Pre Covid 19
Before Covid19 every one is free for travelling
they visit various places on vacations.
• Various ways of sharing the vehicle while
travelling are adopted by the individuals.

Post Covid19
After covid19 all the tourism sector get affected
• Lockdown effect the travelling and individual prefer to go
alone without any car sharing to be Protected from the
virus.

Before covid19 people wanted to go to urban
areas for the purpose of getting the employment.
• Every individual are free and feel secure on
there financial status and spend more to make
their life style comfortable and easy

After Covid19 everybody wants to live in there
home place and find the job in near by areas or
work from home.
• After Covid19 most of the people in all over
world are more conscious on the way of there
spending.
• They only want to pay in necessary things and
that to with cost cutting

before Covid19 the concept of self dependence is
not take very seriously

Post Covid19
After Covid19 everyone wants to be self dependent .
• The came as eye opening opportunities for
everyone.
• People now want to manufactured the product
instead of importing it and wan to became self-
capable.
