First Order Differential Equation: Meiva Marthaulina

The document discusses first order differential equations. It defines differential equations and notes they relate functions to derivatives. It outlines the objectives of understanding order and degree of differential equations, separable and homogeneous forms, and solving problems for each. The key types are described as ordinary and partial differential equations. Order refers to the highest derivative, while degree refers to the highest power of the derivative. Separable differential equations can be solved using separation of variables, while homogeneous equations use a change of variables to separate the derivative from other terms. Examples of each type are provided and solved.

derivative of function

The three equations above are really represent the SAME thing. The solution to a DE could be a
function or class of function not just value or a set of value.
