Conditional Sentences Type 2 and 3

This document discusses the patterns for second and third conditional sentences in English. The second conditional uses past tense verbs to talk about hypothetical or unlikely present situations, following the pattern "if + subject + verb 2, subject + would + verb 1". The third conditional uses past perfect verbs to talk about hypothetical or unlikely past situations, following the pattern "if + subject + had + verb 3, subject + would have + verb 3". Examples are provided for each.
