System Administrator Service

• If this service doesn’t run, users and administrators will not be able to log into the system
• The system administrator service is the link between ALL other components and their
databases. When a service restarts it contacts port 62070 to gain access to its database.
Once this is done , it no longer requires the system administrator service.

• If the service is restarted, users will need to log-out/Refresh the page.

 Rules are criteria that are compared against real time events
and trigger actions accordingly.
 Recording Rules – triggers recording of voice and/or screen.
 Storage Rules – triggers archiving of media to the Storage
Center.
 Scoring & Classification Rules – triggers business based
categorization and scoring of interactions.

 If this service is down, rules will still run , but no interface will
be available for viewing, modifying or creating rules.

Nice Rule Engine

• The Rule Engine is responsible for executing the rules. It matches


events (calls) to rules and builds a task list for the relevant
component.
• Recording Rules – Task list is created for the loggers
• Storage Rules – Task list is created for the Storage Center
• Scoring and Classification Rules – Task list is created for the
Application server.

 If the service is down, rules will not run.
