FMGC Nav Data Loading Using Pmat

FMGC NAV DATA LOADING USING PMAT

Note The central round switch on the


PMAT is used for scrolling and the left
switch is for selection
Remove FMGC 1 and FMGC 2 CB.

Remove PDL supply CB And connect the PDL connecting cable to the
DATA LOADING connector on central pedestal.Push in the PDL supply CB.

Put ON the DLS Panel.Select FMGC 1 on DLS panel.

Push the ON/OFF switch(for 5 sec) on the PMAT till the green ON light comes on.
The PMAT takes around 5 mins to boot up.
Screen after PMAT boots up
Click on PDL 615 dataloading
Next screen
Click on PMAT Mass Storage
Click on Next
Next screen
Example If we are loading on VT-PPJ click on
A321 VT-PPJ FMS/AFMC FMGC NAVDATA 1911 in
the four columns
THEN CLICK ON SELECT
NEXT SCREEN
Type AIRINDIA in the box
Click on Start Load
Next screen
Click on Start Load
Next screen
FMGC 1 CB. AFTER THE
AT THIS POINT PUSH IN THE
TRIPLE CLICKS the counter on the dataloader
screen starts decrementing
After disk1 counter becomes zero ,disk 2 starts loading automatically
After loading is over LOAD COMPLETE is displayed
Now click on Go Back
Next screen
Click on SHUT DOWN
Deselect FMGC 1 on DLS panel and put the DLS OFF
PULL OUT FMGC 1 CB

After PMAT shuts down Pull out PDL SUPPLY CB


Disconnect the cable
Push in PDL SUPPLY CB

PUSH IN FMGC 1 & FMGC 2 CB


CROSSLOAD the NAV DATA to FMGC 2.
RESET both FMGC CB’s.
Assign Aircraft Tail No to any software
When Library Mangement and Software Load is selected following screen appears.Do
the required selections by clicking the boxes.
