 Psychomotor Objective: Perform an underhand roll


with a bowling ball and proper form (1A/1)
 Cognitive Objective: Students will be able to answer

cooperation by taking turns bowling and setting up
pins for their partner. (2A/4)

Assessment Description:
Psychomotor Objective
 The Psychomotor objective was assessed by all three
Physical Educators. The Physical Educators assessed the
students with a teacher generated bowling criteria rubric
based on a four point scale. A student must receive a 3 or
higher on the psychomotor assessment to receive a passing
grade. Students observed a demonstration and listened to a
short lecture on the critical elements of performing an
underhand roll in bowling with proper technique. Students
were given general and specific corrective feedback
throughout the lesson by all three Physical Educators .

Assessment Description:
Cognitive Objective
 The students received a cognitive assessment in the
form of an exit slip at the closure of the lesson. The
exit slip consists of eight questions that tested the
student’s knowledge about the performance of an
underhand roll and background information on
bowling such as rules of the game. Students must get
5/8 questions correct in order to receive a passing
grade.

 Every student either improved their score or remained the same on the
Post-Test
 Three students had perfect scores on both the Pre-Test and Post-Test

 The data collected from assessment was reliable because all students
were given the same assessment that was related to lesson content and
that was created by physical educators.

Assessment Description:
Affective Objective
 The students received an affective assessment in the form of an exit
slip. The assessment required the students to circle whether they
strongly argee, agree, disagree, strongly disagree or undecided about
four statements. The assessment also included a question that asked
the students what to identify one thing they liked about the lesson and
one thing theydidn’t like about the lesson.
