• Analog signal is sampled every TS seconds.
• Tsis referred to as the samplinginterval.
• fs = 1/Ts is called the sampling rate or sampling frequency.
•There are 3 sampling methods:
– Impulse (ideal) sampling - an impulse at each samplinginstant
