Online newspaper editions are also possible through this rapid technology. IN MEDIA INDUSTRIES One hundred years ago, the media was simply. EXAMPLE Electronic media is media that uses electricity, including television, radio, the Internet, fax, CD-ROMs, DVDS and online video streaming. It includes any medium that uses the digital or electronic encoding of information. Most new media forms are digital media, but electronic media can be analog electronic data or digital electronic data. Example Final Cut Pro is the software used for editing videos for news channels. COMPUTER AND FILM MEDIA Computer technology invades the film industry. The existence of computers have aided in the production of genres of film ranging from action movie special effects, to cartoon animation and claymation . Computer Generated Imagery, known as CGI, assists filmmakers in many ways. An image can be made two-dimensional from a three- dimensional scene, camera angles can be altered to make a character seem larger and thus more important than its surrounding bodies, and colors can be brightened or neutralized, among other things (Parsons, Oja 1).
